1810
Delatour’s brother puts the works remaining in his studio up for auction. The bids are very low and the auction is a failure. The unsold works are donated to the town of Saint-Quentin.
Circa 1850
Delatour’s pastels are exhibited at the Abbey of Fervaques in Saint-Quentin. The Goncourt brothers write about the exhibition.
1877
The banker Antoine Lécuyer (1793-1878) bequeaths the town of Saint-Quentin the mansion that is now the town museum, housing the collection of Delatour’s pastels.
