Getting to the Louvre
We strongly advise all visitors to book a time slot in advance at ticket.louvre.fr to guarantee their admission to the museum in case of overcrowding.
Entry to the museum is free for disabled visitors and the person accompanying them. Supporting documents required.
Disabled visitors and the person accompanying (or their immediate family) them are granted priority access (without queuing) at the reception area and museum entrances.

Dedicated spaces
The Medieval Louvre
Retrace the history and the transformations of the Louvre palace. Interactive touchscreens help you orient yourself and visualize the surrounding spaces and the architectural development of the palace.
Islamic Art
Tactile devices are available in the Department of Islamic Art collections (level -2 is closed). The Department of Islamic Art includes a number of interactive touchscreens for visitors (please be aware that level -2 is currently closed for renovations).
Sculpture Discovery Area
An educational space with touchscreens for everyone to learn about the history of sculpture from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
The Galerie Campana
This gallery of Greek pottery includes a number of touchscreens for visitors.
