The museum is open today from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

The Louvre is carrying out some major maintenance and renovation work to make the visitor experience as comfortable and positive as possible. As a result, some of the museum rooms have to be periodically closed. In addition, some rooms may need to be closed for weather-related or technical reasons.

Louvre Couture. Art and fashion: statement pieces. In order to carry out regular maintenance on the collections of the Musée du Louvre, rooms 515–530 will be closed on Wednesday 4 June and rooms 601–604 will close from Monday 21 August. 
In high temperatures, the Napoleon III Apartments may close for preservation purposes.
