Heatwave: The Musée du Louvre will be closing at 4:00 p.m. from Wednesday 24 June through Saturday 27 June (last admissions: 2:00 p.m.). Purchased tickets for individual visitors and groups of visitors with reservations for time slots after 2:00 p.m. during this period will be automatically refunded to the account used for payment.

The museum is open today from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

The Louvre is carrying out some major maintenance and renovation work to make the visitor experience as comfortable and positive as possible. As a result, some of the museum rooms have to be periodically closed. In addition, some rooms may need to be closed for weather-related or technical reasons. 

On Wednesdays and Fridays, rooms on Level 2 will open at 10:30 a.m.
