Did you know?
The Greenfinch can have up to three broods each year, with four to six eggs per brood.
This species has steeply declined in France, with its numbers dropping by more than half since 2001. Sometimes, this species ingests small pebbles to help grind the seeds it eats, as do most seed-eating birds.
