Online ticketing platform for tourist groups

The Louvre’s new ticketing platform for tourism professionals is now available. Group reservations for visits between 14 January and 31 March 2026 is open.

Your purchase history and tickets will remain available on the former ticketing platform until 13 January 2026.

As a tourism professional (travel agency, tour operator, tour guide, etc), you will need to request the creation of a professional account to book a visit to the Louvre. The creation of a professional account is compulsory to be able to book your group visits.

Step 1: how to submit a request to create a professional account?

You can submit your request through the museum’s online ticketing platform, by clicking on My Account then on Groups and professionals.

Only one account per structure should be created.

After your request is reviewed, if your account is validated, you will receive a confirmation email with your user ID. Please note: upon the launch of the new ticketing platform, depending on the number of requests received, there may be delays in processing time. Please refrain from submitting more than one request.

Step 2: Book your visit

It is compulsory to book a time slot for group visits with a group leader authorised to speak publicly or an official museum guide as provided in Article R221-11 of the French Tourism Code. The following is required to book your visit:

  • A group reservation fee: to book a date and time slot for the group (€20 for a small group of up to 6 participants and €90 for a large group of 7 to 20 participants).
  • Admission tickets (participant tickets): for the group members: €28 per participant, except those eligible for free admission (list of free admission eligibility criteria). For a small group reservation, a minimum purchase of one participant ticket is required. For a large group reservation, a minimum purchase of seven participant tickets is required.

Once tickets have been paid for, and at least 48 hours before the visit, it is possible to add one or more participant(s) online, depending on group type (small group/large group), and subject to availability. However, the group type cannot be modified.

Once the payment has been validated, you will receive a confirmation email with your tickets attached. Your tickets will also be available in your account.

Step 3: The day of your visit

The day of your visit, you should present yourself with your group and your tickets at the Richelieu entrance, reserved for groups, or the Carrousel entrance. These entrances are located on the Rue de Rivoli. All entrances.

You should then check in at the group reception area counter before starting the visit to pick up your authorisation to speak publicly, upon presentation of proof of your permission to give tours and of your reservation.

Small groups may begin their visit without checking in at the group reception area counter. We request that museum guides leading tours ensure that their professional card is clearly displayed at all times.
