The museum is closed all day

The Louvre is carrying out some major maintenance and renovation work to make the visitor experience as comfortable and positive as possible. As a result, some of the museum rooms have to be periodically closed. In addition, some rooms may need to be closed for weather-related reasons. Due to renovations, visiting the museum using the lifts will take longer than usual. Feel free to ask the museum staff for assistance during your visit.
